The School of Business at SIUE is accredited by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International) and is one of only two percent of business colleges and universities in the world to hold this accreditation for business and accounting. The School has been accredited since 1975.

In 2013, NCATE merged with the Teacher Education Accreditation Council to form the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP). The SIUE School of Education, Health and Human Behavior meets rigorous national standards for educator preparation set by CAEP.
