Get started on applying to the higher education and student affairs MSEd program

The MSEd in Higher Education and Student Affairs program is delivered in an online format ideal for working educators, conveniently featuring six start dates each year. Choose the start date that best fits your goals.

MSEd online admission requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with cumulative 2.5 GPA on all undergraduate course work
  • Transcripts from all previous colleges/universities attended
  • Current resume
  • Statement of purpose: a list of professional experiences and a two-page, double-spaced written statement responding to both of the following prompts:
    • What do you hope to learn in the program?
    • What areas in higher education are you interested in pursuing and why?
  • No GRE score required for admission
  • All applicants with foreign academic credentials whose first language is not English must demonstrate adequate English language proficiency in advance of admission
    • Proof of English Proficiency: requirements are minimum Level 4 (equivalent to TOEFL iBT 79), IELTS (6.5) or equivalent. In lieu of the TOEFL, an applicant may demonstrate a Total Band Score of 6.5 on the International English Language Testing System
